Volatec will synthesize, purify, and characterize appropriate compounds for various elements for ALD depositions. Once compounds deemed suitable for ALD are identified in collaboration with partners, Volatec will scale up production using state-of-the-art facilities and technical capacities. Volatec is also the responsible partner for integrating and operationalizing a newly developed analytical tool, which will serve as a key instrument for evaluating the compatibility of compounds with deposition processes.
Institution Information
Volatec is developing and manufacturing metal-organic compounds that are mainly applied in atomic layer deposition (ALD). Our production capabilities are from gram scale up to 100 kg per batch. We deliver the products and services worldwide. We have a selection of different compounds for most of the elements of the periodic table that could suit your application. Volatec was established in 1993. Its production facilities are in Porvoo, Finland.
