Tyndall brings vast experience in the design and characterisation of electronic materials and the predictive simulation of atomic layer deposition (ALD) chemistries. The Tyndall team are internationally recognised experts in the exploration of novel materials, their processing and device architectures for future electronics. Tyndall’s expertise includes device fabrication and electrical characterization. Furthermore, they have extensive experience with employing first principles modelling in ALD of thin films for electronic applications, which will be crucial for unravelling the underlying mechanisms of epitaxy.

Tyndall is a leading European research centre in integrated ICT (Information and Communications Technology) materials, devices and systems. It is one of Ireland’s five National Labs and specialises in electronics and photonics.
